Be part of something incredible! Do you want to help make World Down syndrome Congress 2024 an amazing experience? Would you like to be part of a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity? We’re on the lookout for volunteers to be part of this incredible event.

Why volunteer?

Here’s why it’s fantastic to get involved in Congress:

  • Free uniform: Get a free top for your volunteering shifts that you can keep after the event.

Volunteer roles

We need volunteers for important roles such as:

  • Helping with registrations
  • Monitoring session rooms
  • Giving directions and information
  • Welcoming attendees with warmth
  • Distributing satchels and lanyards

Volunteering times

Whether you can help for a short while or the whole day, we need you! We have shifts available in the morning, afternoon, and evening:

Morning shift: 7am – 11am
Afternoon shift: 11am – 3pm
Evening shift: 3pm – 7pm

Volunteer entitlements

You will receive access to the Congress and catering on the day you are scheduled to volunteer. Please note that the Congress will not cover any expenses related to your travel to and from the Congress, or travel and accommodation in Brisbane.
